I love the almost retro design of the head and its human-like degrees of freedom. Optimus is still number one for everything above the waist, but there's something uniquely adorable about Phoenix - and that's entirely due to the way his head moves. I think that's very important.

Initially the 25k car is going to sell faster then they can produce them. They will sell to lower and lower middle income people. If sold to them correctly, as a way to pay for itself and put extra dollars in their pocket, they will use them as robotaxis. I think that will be the group willing to share their car with strangers, if the $ really pay for the car and give them extra income they need badly. Middle class and up are not going to be willing to share their car. They will take dedicated robo taxis, but will not share their car.

As a Tesla investor, I have had to endure its tremendous volatility, uncertainty, and a valuation that has dropped from $1,200 a share, pre-stock split, to about a $100 dollars a share. As much I see the value in Tesla as much as every other Tesla bull, Wall Street does not, and unfortunately, I don't know if they ever will. As they are very short-sighted, they invest based on results, not potential. The concern I have is that after two and a half years, Musk has failed to turn it around despite their overall success, technical advancements, and improved product line such as the Cybertruck. While Tesla stock is a "Must-Hold" for Tesla bulls, the reality is that the "Hold-Time" may be 2 to 5 more years. Be aware that Tesla has tremendous headwinds in terms of competition, slump is sales, delivery issues, regulatory approval for self-driving and robotaxi adoption, high interest rates, and this list could go on. There is always something with Tesla that Wall Street reacts to that drives a sell-off of Tesla stock, that in turn, drives down their valuation. That's a lot to contend with. That said, you will have to continue to endure Tesla's continued volatility and uncertainty until they transform their potential into something that Wall Street will invest in.

Outstanding interview with Alex. I am long term investor since 2010 IPO. I listened to Elon and believed in his vision/mission and how well they are executing "Master Plan 3". I am very comfortable with Tesla under Elon's very capable leadership and feel they are successfully executing their Plan.

Missing the near-certainty that practically everyone will instantly see the light with Actually Smart Summon (ASS), then be totally sold on Tesla's E/AVs when Banish is released. At that point, practically everyone will be eager to understand and utilize FSD (unsupervised and/or supervised as well).

Even some ppl who are decently educated on tesla fsd are still skeptical of robotaxis because of rare edge cases. In my mind, integration with Grok will address that issue where Grok will communicate with the passenger in extreme edge cases and give a few options on what to do, or hand off control to support person wearing a VR device that renders the situation in 3D

Did that guy actually say Elon can't lie? He knows more about production than anyone else on the planet so how is he so wrong on his production estimates? Is it still true I'll be able to make $30,000 a year from my M3 used as a Robocab while I sleep?

What was important in the last two years was how to expand capacity and get to twenty million cars in2030. What is important now ist the increase of ai capacity which is a magic solution for all problems. Remains the question why the messiah is so inarticulate, what musk said last week he might have been able to say 2 years ago.
